Introduction

In the beginning I would like to explain the reason why I took this topic: China and ODA. I was interested in Japanese ODA before, because the media and news paper, they nearly everyday criticize it against my discourse that International cooperation and develop the country is good. But through half year from entering this University, I ‘m noticed that we are controlled by media such as TV, Internet and newspaper, and so on. That moved me to see the truth and what I think and act about the issues.
I went to study tour to Vietnam that held by JICA, and then I had an opportunity to see and hear from the big time of domestic development, he was the agent of foreign affair of Vietnam. I asked him that what support do their country willing to be funded, and he answered that just wait and see.
I will analyze how, what for, from when, how much and to whom Japanese ODA done and figure out the fact that we cannot see through the media’s information.

What is ODA

I will describe that the information of how, what for, from when, to where, to whom Japanese ODA started.
According to the ministry of foreign affairs of Japan, ODA stands for Official Development Assistance, and it is the cooperation of grant and technical aid to support economy, welfare and society to develop for developing countries that provide to developing countries and international organizations.
